The Community Library of DeWitt & Jamesville is reviving our Library's CLD&J Music Series later this year. Historically, you may recall, the Library hosted these music events on Sunday afternoon, but weekends can be very busy and parking was an issue at times.

So we’re trying something a little different. Join us for a convivial and musical experience in the Library afterhours on Friday evenings. Arrive between 6:30pm and 7:00pm to mix and mingle, and then settle in for our monthly concert schedule to start at 7:00pm.

Kicking off our series will be Blair Frodelius on Friday, August 12 at 7:00pm. Come listen to the relaxing summer tunes of this margaritaville-esque performance.

On Friday, September 23 at 7:00pm, join us for the Eileen, Shirley and Tom Trio, featuring the pleasant sounds of the Appalachian Dulcimer.

The Bare Bones Trombone Quartet returns to the CLD&J on Friday, October 21 at 7:00pm. Come listen to the familiar brassy tunes of performers: Howie Lynne, Pete Sanborn, Bill Harris & Jim Lamica.

On Friday, November 18 at 7:00pm, the Highland Winds Clarinet Quartet will entertain with a wide variety of musical genres along with some commentary on each selection that is performed.

Join us for some holiday cheer on Friday, December 16 at 7:00pm. Local performer Geoff Clough plays your favorite songs of the season and shares a bit of history and trivia as well.
