What is a waterway anyway? Waterways, both "natural" and "unnatural", are more than a means of moving trade goods and people. They can transport ideas and culture as well. Take a look at a handful of historic "waterways" in New York State and how they shaped our history and our lives today. Registration Encouraged.

About the Presenter:
Daniel Rinn is a PhD Candidate in the History Department at the University of Rochester. His research focuses on the history of American environmentalism and environmental ideas.
