The library will hand out free eclipse glasses to all patrons starting at 1:00 PM while supplies last. One per person. Patrons are welcome to join us in viewing a once in a lifetime event in DeWitt, New York – a total solar eclipse! Bring a lawn chair, picnic blanket, and snacks!
*Please note: the inside of the library will be closed from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM so that staff have an opportunity to view the solar eclipse. Bathrooms in the lobby will still be accessible. The library will close early for the remainder of the day at 4:30 PM.*
