Wondering what to do with old books? Often libraries including CLD&J will take books as donations. But sometimes old used books are beyond saving and it's time to find a new purpose for them. Join us in the Hive makerspace for a crafting event to upcycle old books. Learn and try techniques like making origami stars or flowers out of the pages, bookmarks from the spines, or a safe from an entire book.
*All supplies including old books will be provided, participants may bring one book they wish to use if they have one but are not required to do so.*
